TA Physiotherapy has been established to provide treatment as a mobile Physiotherapy service for the community of Swan hill (and neighbouring towns). TA Physiotherapyhas been founded by Tesha Anderson, Physiotherapist.

Experienced and qualified from the U.K. in 2011, Tesha has completed Postgraduate studies in Rehabilitation from Auckland, NZ. Before moving to Swan Hill, Tesha worked for Vivir Healthcare since 2012 where she was a Senior Clinical Physiotherapist, working her way up to being a Team Leader and finally being the Operations Manager for Home Services (for VIC, SA and TAS). Her past experience has allowed her to expand her skills to being trained as a Counsellor and she had the opportunity to work in this field during her first year in Swan Hill, being immersed in the world of Psychology. This experience, now merged with Physiotherapy has brought her full circle back in terms of “how” to best deliver services to clients in a manner that is individualised and being sensitive to the needs of the clients in a holistic way.
Due to the gap in the market for Community Physiotherapy, a mobile clinic has been set up, whereby a more person-centred approach can be provided, and ample time can be given to the client instead of the clinic-rush. Stepping in as a mobile service has also filled in a much needed gap in not just the town of Swan Hill but also for neighbouring towns.
One of Tesha’s goals is to set up a sponsorship fund for anti-trafficking activities that happens in the Philippines. The aim is to contribute 10% of profits from TA Physio to sponsor survivors of sex trafficking in the Philippines for Education, Shelter and Rehabilitation. Tesha was involved in a project in the Philippines in providing support to minors rescued from trafficking and this is still an ongoing mission to continue being an advocate for the survivors.
